MARVELIZ HEART
Marveliz Heart is dedicated to supporting organizations, education, and research that assist individuals with congenital heart defects (CHDs).
Marveliz Heart is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
We support
Organizations
We support organizations that encourage and help individuals with CHDs lead normal lives. These programs are instrumental for the healthy development of children who often feel isolated because of their cardiac conditions.
Education
Providing educational opportunities for individuals with CHD is essential for them to become advocates in their own care and treatment. Marveliz Heart is working to provide educational funding for individuals with CHDs as they transition from pediatric care to adult care.
A scholarship will also be offered for a college-bound student that has a CHD.
Research
CHDs are the number one birth defect, affecting about 1 in 100 births. Funding is not always readily available for the research needed to prevent and cure these defects. Marveliz Heart is interested in helping research institutions such as the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) which focus on improving the outcomes of children born with complex CHDs.
